The Curran - Rooney School of Irish Dancing is based in Co.Down and Co.Armagh. It is the longest established Irish Dancing School in the Banbridge area. The school is registered with an Coimisiuin le Rinci Gaelacha, the largest Irish dance body in the world. The Curran-Rooney School strives to teach children the skills required to become competent irish dancers. Both teachers have many years of experience between them which ensures they are equipped to help the dancers reach championship level within competitions. The school has had representatives and has been successful at local, regional and international competitions such as the Ulster Championships, All Ireland Championships and World Championships.
